This phone does everything. It's beautiful. It runs unix. Apple's crack team has outdone themselves with an innovative UI to control a beyond-complete hardware package including motion sensors, light sensors, a proximity sensor (to detect when it's near your ear) and of course every other de rigeur gadget offered by a top-of-the-line smartphone. Unless that virtual keyboard sucks, this is the treo replacement I've been waiting for.

UPDATE: I've heard the iPhone may be a closed system. That is to say, you may not be able to create or install 3rd party software like you can for the treo. That would be a deal-killer. Let's hope Apple opens it up. Or maybe Safari is a good-enough development platform to support the proliferation of 3rd-party apps.</description><image width="60" extension="jpg" id="35A7EF78" height="60">http://www.thisnext.com/media/60x60/35A7EF78.jpg</image><siteurl>http://www.thisnext.com/</siteurl><sitedisplayurl>http://www.thisnext.com/</sitedisplayurl></set></response>
