The printed bodice is bias cut crepe and featu... Delightfully bright turquoise sheath dress with a green starburst floral bodice. The solid fabric is some kind of blend that mimics the shine and faint slub of quality douppioni silk. The printed bodice is bias cut crepe and features a cowl neckline with a hidden weight in front to help keep its shape. Metal zipper closure, center back. The jacket is cropped to the waist, with a single hook closure and faux knot buttons. No designer's tag, the only label is from a boutique, "Mme Zema, Geary Street, San Francisco."

Christian Flensted's mid-century design is still handcrafted in Denmark today. This is my personal favorite and hangs in my home where the fish swim, casting shadows, with even the slightest breeze or movement of air.
