Boston Athletic Association: 112TH BOSTON MARATHON - April 21, 2008
Always run on Patriots' Day, the Boston Marathon is second only to the Superbowl in terms of the amount of on-site media coverage it garners. And you cannot just show up in order to participate, you must qualify by achieving a particular pace (based upon your age) at another marathon. And you have to be 18 or older. Since I have yet to run a marathon, I am out of luck for this year . . . but look for me in 2009.

I am pleasantly surprised to discover that not only is K-Swiss introducing a women's running shoe concurrently with the men's shoe, the women's version is available in a color it calls "orange crush". Kismet !
