Vosges Gatsby Cake
Square cakes and I have fought a long battle. For some reason (maybe my pans?) my square cakes always come out dry even though my traditionally shaped cakes come out fine. This square cake is gorgeous though. And not only does it put my cake decorating skills to shame. It tastes fantastic.

I love mini pleats, they remind me of the 20s. But this dress reminds me of a ballerina. The low scooping back, the high waist, the cap sleeves---it's all together elegant and prim. And I adore the prim and proper.
