ABERDEEN CITY :: THE FREEZING ATLANTIC
Boston-based Aberdeen City combines a jangly rock energy with an numbing intensity (two of the most outstanding modern trends in music) that sounds much more British than American. Alternative Press puts it like this "...if the Strokes and Interpol had a love child...that should give you some idea." Does it? Their live show puts many more accomplished performers to shame and I bet that their opening act slots easily out-do the headliners more often than not! Their first full-length release is called The Freezing Atlantic and take my word for it, it's bloody addictive! You'll hear about Aberdeen City eventually - now you can say you knew about them "way back when"!
