Abita Brewing Company

Their wheat isn't a true Hefeweizen but it is still a decent wheat-y brew. Good flavor notes although I would prefer a lighter taste.

  • Really a great root beer as many of the microbrewers have accomplished. Good strong flavor and nice foamy head. You can't go wrong with this one especially if you aren't a real beer snob.

Light taste and doesn't taste like the classic Amber. Actually it tastes like Bud Light which isn't a good thing. Why can't microbrewers stick to producing great Belgian style brews instead of this?
