Cole Haan shoes are my FAVORITE for long hours on your feet. They are supremely comfy and I can forget I'm wearing shoes...which is the ultimate test for me. LOVING these dark red suede power pumps!

Gold is so hot and beige so yesterday. And, even though it is holiday time, I like that my shoes are elegant and not flashy! I don't want to be competing with the Christmas tree lights. Having never owned gold high heels before was a bit nervous about this, but wanted something fabulous for the holiday parties we will be attending. These really fit the bill. Did something uncharacteristic, wore them out of the box to a luncheon without having had time to break them in. To my amazement, the gold high heel pumps were very comfortable. My feet swell when I sit for a long time. And, true to form, with all the sodium in our banquet food, my feet did swell. The really friendly and competent staff at Your-Shoe-Store.com said the gold womens shoe runs a wee bit small and upon their recommendation, ordered them a half size bigger. They fit perfectly and as stated earlier, they are comfortable. Several women at the luncheon complimented me on my beautiful high heels. I had seen some similar to them at the department store, selling for $300...these look like they are very expensive. The price surprised me, had to do a double take to see if I read it correctly. They are very reasonably priced AND they were sent with free shipping! Was running around town a few days after the luncheon and a lady remembered me from my high heels! So, not only was my talk memorable, so were my shoes. Guess you really can make an impression by being elegantly dressed. And, love that i can be well-dressed on a 'shoe-string' budget! The gold pumps will be fantastic for all of our holiday events and holiday parties. So glad I got these! The gold pumps are made of a soft leather-like material and the matte gold has a soft sheen. The insole is padded and the shoes are very well made. Another thing I love besides the fast, free shipping, and the excellent customer service is all of their shoes are eco-friendly. No trees are cut down and no animals are killed for the sake of my beautiful footwear, and the fabrics are either organic or man-made.

I think that fall is probably my favorite season for shoes. These t-strap pumps are simply gorgeous... especially in the grey/blue fabric. Definitely a "Want" on my list...

Serena can be kind of annoying though, so I retook it until it gave me Blair (which, I might add, was a VERY Blair thing of me to do). In any case, these gorgeous Louboutin heels feed my obsession with not only things that I cannot have (at least, not right now) and my fixation with all things shiny, glittery, and sparkly. So great for adding a little bit of fabulous to a slinky black dress... or some super-tight dark wash skinny jeans. You could probably even wear them with your pajamas and still look amazing, because they're Louboutins.
