Porter Airlines by Tyler Brule
The branding concept is by Canadian Tyler Brule of Wallpaper Magazine fame. Need I say more? It's chic, modern and ultra cool. From the lounge to the aircraft interiors, Porter Airlines is flying refined. With service on new aircraft from Toronto Island Airport to Montreal and Ottawa with US routes soon to follow, Porter Airlines is sure to attract more than the business traveller. And with fares as low as $99CDN return who says business class doesn't come cheap ;) I tried Porter last week and LOVED LOVED IT. It's a business class product with an economical price. The lounge is stunning and is complimentary for all passengers along with WiFi internet access, non and alcoholic beverages and snacks. Plenty of reading material from fashion & design magazines to national newspapers. The In-flight experience is superb. Real china and glassware for starters. Lunch was served which included a gourmet sandwich, beverage of your choice, (mine was red wine) and cheese. The view of the city upon take-off and landing is breathtaking. Anyone looking to travel from downtown Toronto to Montreal or Ottawa Porter Airlines is the way to go! I can't wait until they start New York and Chicago service later this year.
