Really relaxing but still fun and slightly poppy tunes. The lead singer has one of those soft voices usually reserved for whiny songs, but with a guitar-electro-fused background, it comes off wonderfully soothing and pleasant.

I love status quo beck. We all do, but something magical happened in 2002, when he substituted sarcastic lyrics for deeper, more sincere melodies. Sea Changes happened and it's one of the best albums of the decade.

Shockingly, they've ended up being right on with the title. The Kings of Convenience throw it back into chill mode, but also have no problem picking up the tempo, if need be. Music aside, this has to be one of the best album titles/ cover art I've ever seen. This album is as ridiculous as you'd think, but proves to be perfect summer music.

O.A.R. is just my idea of pure, gritty summer music. Like perfect to listen to while fishing and camping and doing outdoorsy stuff. O.A.R. is straight up fun, and for no particular reason other than the enthusiasm behind it.

The Thrillseekers are actually just one DJ named Steve something or other, but wow, he makes some incredible trance. If you're a trance fan you cannot miss this series of albums.
