I can't tell you how many times I wished to be "big" after seeing this movie. To me, it's one of the more iconic Tom Hanks roles and and the coming of age film of the late 80s.

Being one of my dad's favorite movies, I literally grew up watching this. To this day, I watch it on a fairly consistent basis. You will laugh at this movie, while you watch Eddie Murphey turn from a beggar to astounding wealth.

This is by far one of the best versions of A Christmas Carol. It was so modern and hilarious... Bill Murray rocks... just ask Chad.

Downright fun and funny. Michael Caine at his best, with plenty of backup from a perfect cast and a daring heist to engage in. The Mini Coopers have some great driving stunts.

Housewife Beverly Boyer (Day) happens by chance to give an executive of Happy Soap an honest appraisal of one of his company's products. Charmed by her forthright and honest manner, he makes Beverly the company spokesperson. When she becomes an advertising sensation, her husband (Garner) has to deal with the social ramifications of his wife making more money than he does. Day and Garner are both in good form, and Garner nicely portrays the mounting frustration of bewildered husband Gerald.

Carlin was one of the most influential peo... I felt I needed to recommend something George Carlin related because he died yesterday. I am a big fan of his ever since I first saw his HBO special "Complaints and Grievances" at age 13. Carlin was one of the most influential people in my life and I regret the fact that I'll never get to see him in person. Brain Droppings was the first of Carlin's books I read and although it wasn't as funny as Napalm and Silly Putty it is still something to be treasured. Carlin would probably hate it if I said rest in peace so I'll end this recommendation in a way Carlin might have and just thank him for the good times.
