I loved this movie, I'd love to see this as a weekly TV show (does anyone watch TV?) even if it's made in Brazil and I have to learn Portuguese it wouldn't matter, cause I'm sure it would be funny and amazing in what ever language... Certainly one of the funniest movies ever made, but it also has an often overlooked, but tightly wound and very enjoyable plot. The dude just wants his rug back. Hilarity ensues.

One of the most amazing shows out of John Cleese of Monty Python. It's situated in a hotel Cleese owns and must act pleasant to all he despises, which makes for some true comedy.

While your favorite shows are on hiatus, you can always catch up on some little gems you may have missed. I'd recommend Pysch. It's funny little show with a stupid sounding premise: A guy manages to convince a couple of skeptical detectives that he's truly psychic, mainly by solving their cases for them. Truth is, he's just very observant, and TV cops are never as good as the real ones. Still, once you get past the first few episodes of the first season, the show is solid. The banter between Shawn and Gus alone (the guys on the cover) is worth the time - hilarious memories for anyone who grew up or lived in the 80's, as well as just plain fun. The chemistry between the two as well as all the other highly memorable characters is spot on. Not to mention, there's always a tangled little mystery that's fun to watch get put all tidy and right at the end. My writing skills are sorely lacking, but watch some episodes from seasons 2 or 3 on hulu.com . That's when the writing really took off and made the show really great.
