This is such a great family film. And it isn't sugar coated. It portrays your typical American family squabbling and bickering while trying to hold things together emotionally and financially. The film reminds you of the importance of family and community as well as how fragile life and situations can be. A bittersweet movie that will have you reaching for the tissue.

I've weirdly seen this movie an obscene amount of times. I love Jon Grisham and Brad Renfro was adorable in this movie.

And who could forget Pete and Pete, the red-haired brothers? I remember this show being very quirky...the mom had metal plates in her head that were pesky around magnetic objects.

For me, this was the first Cohen Brothers film I saw. In no questionable way, it transformed me into a lifetime fan. And, even though it was made over 20 years ago, it remains one of the funniest films I've ever seen.

I enjoyed this movie and although it's not one of M. Night Shamalayan's best, it has what I would dare to say is one of the best suspense scenes in cinema. That's a big accomplishment.
