This movie is not the best romantic comedy but it is nonetheless pretty adorable. I recommend eating popcorn, it'll make the movie a tad more enjoyable.

The soundtrack to the movie single is wonderful but the film is so so, a bit boring. This was romantic comedy that made more sense in the last five years than it did in 1992 when I was just beginning to understand what or who I was going to be. The movie is set in Seattle with you guessed it a soundtrack of grunge (except for Nirvana). I mean, the soundtrack starts with “Would” by Alice in Chains and ends with “Drown” by the Smashing Pumpkins. In between, you get tracks from Pearl Jam, Sound garden, and Mudhoney. Overall I recommend the album because music is never dated but the film, gosh I can start hating the 90s again because of it.

I mostly wanted to see this movie because it had the guy from Friday Night Lights. But then it turned out to be a pretty good movie. Plus Michael Keaton is in it, I've missed hiM!

Don't laugh. This is what covers to romantic comedies looked like in the 80s. This movie, however, is genius, as it tells the story of a man who falls in love with a mannequin who happens to come to life at night.
