I needed something to read on the train, so I picked it up and fell in love. This is the type of fantasy novel both adults and children can appreciate, with both engrossing action and addictive humor. My 11 year old enjoyed it as much as I did, racing to complete the trilogy before me. Definitely worth reading or buying for kid you know.

  • Another childhood favorite - I discovered this book while staying at a cottage appropriately named Toad Hall, and next door to Mole's End. Children's novels from this time period really intrigue me for some reason.

King and Infinitum Nihil’s Christi Dembrowski will produce the live-action film, which centers on an orphaned boy who secretly lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station and looks after the clocks. He gets caught up in a mystery adventure when he attempts to repair a mechanical man. The studio is eyeing a fall start date. GK Films and Warner Bros. acquired screen rights to “The Invention of Hugo Cabret,” a No. 1 New York Times bestseller, in 2007.
