When you've run out of room and your back's against the wall and you just can't seem to squeeze everything you want in the shot, just put on this wide angle lens attachment to get it all in the picture. This 0.45x wide angle attachment more than doubles your camera's wide angle field-of-view. You'll be able to get more of the scene in your scenic shots and more of the group in your group shots. The Wide Angle Lens's detachable Macro Lens enables you to photograph small objects up close. Great for jewelry, coins, stamps, flowers, and more. Even if your camera already has macro capability, this macro lens will get you even closer for truly amazing close-up photos.

Using this with the 50mm 2.0 lens and the ring flash gives an excellent picture of the fine details - down to a postage stamp. 8 Megapixels spread over that small area (4/3 ") is a very high magnification. I use this with the 50mm f/2.0 lens to get very large photos of small objects (macro) - it's a good combination. I did try it for kicks with my 50-200 mm lens and found the lens had to be set to 200mm to get any focus success, which happened around 3-4 feet from the lens. That combination covered an area about the size of a credit card.

Already had the UV, and haven't used the fluorescent yet. But have been able to take some knockout sunset photographs using the Polarizer & the sunset setting on my E510. It was worth the cheap price for this alone. Nice having the little holder for the filter lens too.

I love photos where the main subject is in focus and everything behind just sort of gently blurs together. I also have a great dislike for my pop-up flash, but not the moolah to get a nice external flash. This lens solves that problem by working in lower light situation than most average lenses will.. and has the added benefit of giving me that shallow depth of field that I so love. All around a nice piece to add to your collection if you have a Canon dSLR.. especially for that price!
