He asked for request and people passionately wanted to here some tracks of this, Eno's '74 debut. He played a couple tracks, prefaced by an endorsement of the album that was strong enough to download it as soon as I got home.

There's very little debate over the fact that this is the greatest live album ever recorded -- not just in Soul, but in any genre. No collection is complete without it.

Although I tend to prefer Joe Henderson and MyCoy Tyner when they're a bit more controlled (and Henderson more melodic), this is still a great record.

A gorgeous album from start to finish -- Green's smooth, rich guitar playing (not to mention the personnel he has backing him) just can't be beat. A classic.

It's a recent rediscovery by me. From 1968, this was the final album of the band before they broke up, and reformed in the 90s. It's probably best known for the final track, "Time of the Season." However, the rest of the album isn... It's a recent rediscovery by me. From 1968, this was the final album of the band before they broke up, and reformed in the 90s. It's probably best known for the final track, "Time of the Season." However, the rest of the album isn't just progressive and different, but also amazing and something i'll listen to constantly for a long time to come.
