What could an 18 year old want with a memoir written about New York tycoons and sleazy business deeds? Well, to be honest, the New York City Stock Exchange fascinates me. My father worked on Wall Street before he met my mama, and that life always interested me. Why did I have to be a Pittsburgh baby, dammit?! I could have been born in NEW YORK. "In Newwwww Yorkkkk...what dreams are made of, there's nothin' you caaaan't doooo..." ;)

Being one of my dad's favorite movies, I literally grew up watching this. To this day, I watch it on a fairly consistent basis. You will laugh at this movie, while you watch Eddie Murphey turn from a beggar to astounding wealth.

If you have ever struggled to make it in any endeavor (and you can look past the horribly huge shoulder pads), you will appreciate this flick.
