You know Goody, purveyor of haircare products for generations - your mom's bobby pins, for example. They've been modernizing their image and now have the Styling+Therapy line of brushes. They've been modernizing their image and now have the Styling+Therapy line of brushes. I saw these in the drugstore and had to try them out - I mean the claims...materials...Swiss flag in the logo, lowercase type....you know me. There are 3 versions: reduce+dandruff - I bought this one. The bristles are infused with (and look like) copper. Copper is a bacterial/fungus inhibitor, which they claim kills some of the dandruff producing nasties. I honestly don't know the truth, but the brush is solid, looks cool, and works well. I've noticed a slight reduction in my dandruff days, so I guess it does work! add+shine - Coolest looking one, with a rubbery blue handle and soft, resin bristles. The brush-bed contains jojoba oil, so every time you brush, you coat your hair with this natural moisturizer and shine producing additive. protect+color - This one has real boar bristles in addition to the nylon ones. It contains Questamide, something I never heard of but that is apparently a lipid - smoothing and closing cuticles to lock in color and treat dry, damaged hair. Each brush has special instructions on the package, like how to clean, how to use, and when to replace (about 12 months, a small con).Don't use any of these with a hairdryer, especially the copper one - you'll burn yourself. Cool technology, good looks, and not too expensive. Try them out!

This works great for my mother, who has fine hair, my aunt who has curly hair, my husband who has dry hair... basically, I have recommended this shampoo to pretty much everyone I know, and they all love it! This is also excellent for anyone with sensitive skin, or a sensitive scalp. This shampoo was formally known as Abba Nourishing Shampoo, but the packaging was redesigned, and the name was changed to Pure Gentle Shampoo in 2008. The original label indicated that this shampoo is also suitable as a body cleanser, and I can attest that this is quite true. Aside from the phenomenal results, this shampoo is vegan, cruelty free, and contains no DEA, sulfates, or synthetic dyes.

ALSO, apparently in iowa, a tin of lightly-perfumed purple hair product can be considered bomblike (bomby?) and get yr luggage searched. that was super.

I put it on when my hair is almost completely dry. The gloss really softened up my dread ends which often become brittle and frizzy. An added plus is that it gives an absolutely gorgeous aroma. This kept my locs smooth and supple with a nice sheen, without looking greasy or attracting dust which can sometimes happen with some products.

It's meant to be used as a very light finishing spray, and it contains silicone, hemp oil and amino acids. This is just a great product. It goes on like a mist so it does not weigh your hair down at all. This is a keeper.
