Fooled by Randomness: The Hidden Role of Chance in Life and in the Markets by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
I loved this book, but only partially for its message. It is written in a wonderfully cantankerous style that one almost never encounters in books. The author has no problem making outrageous statements as if they are fact, with only his strong passion to clue you in that he might be overstating them to make a point.
This is the bag I pack in my travel bag. It makes a great tote for the beach, to the market or to bring home souvenirs. Folded up it takes up just a tiny bit of space. Perfect way to separate laundry in a pinch too.
Great movie. A must watch. Food, Inc. examines the costs of putting value and convenience over nutrition and environmental impact.
