Lee once again should have received an award for this movie. Denzel Washington, after delivering a string of predictable albeit great performances in mediocre movies, reminds us why he is still the crown bearer (Will Smith, your good but you've got nothing on this guy). This allstar cast also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster and Willem Dafoe.

For all the skeptics, I don't like Nicole Kidman either, but this is good movie. Especially if you like creepy children who may or may not be possessed. When I heard of the controversy about Shortbus I watched the movie with a preconceived notion of what the movie would be like. Another film hyped by its frank and in-your-face sexual provocative but lacking in deeper emotional content. But to my surprise it really delivered! By the end of the film, I was thinking more about the human condition than the sex. I was whole heartedly to tears moved by the film. Great job!
