This piece has reminded me of Aubrey Beardsley for some reason. It might be the line for the face and clothes with the block of colour as the hair. This one is embroidered and comes in a hoop.

Hard to see what this says as a small image but it is is a re appropriated vintage linen with "I must survive this" hand appliquéd onto it. Beautiful and delicate original piece.
