It could almost be a screen shot from an M. Night Shyamalan film. It's perfectly eerie and composed, with lighting that seems natural and believable.

I think what I love most about this photograph is the small glimpse of suburbia we get in the upper left corner. For me, it's a nostalgic image about what it's like to be a boy growing up.

Wherever this picture is, I want to live. That is, if Gregory Crewdson will always be there to carefully stage it's spectacularly normal beauty.
