I received this as a gift and I really like it. It's really soothing on the skin and my hands feel so soft. It's not greasy like some hand lotions. I also like the scent--it doesn't have the herbal smell.

I love Aveda because of their skill utilizing natural fragrances/ingredients and creating products that perform equally as well. The smoothing body polish didn’t disappoint because it smoothed and cleansed in one step! This became... The smoothing body polish didn’t disappoint because it smoothed and cleansed in one step! This became my solid, dependable, "go-to” scrub at least 3x week in the shower. The fragrance is "fresh" and the smoothing grains weren't too large or too sharp or rough on my skin. This is also a great buy because there is a lot of product inside the tube which is large flip-top squeeze tube. I really like the easy way I could squirt it out of a tube instead of digging it out of a jar. As with many scrubs, you will need to rinse it down well, as it can leave the shower a little messy. As for the performance of the scrub, I can’t say enough great things about it. I have a tendency to get rough bumps on the back of my upper arms and elbows and after I using this product on a regular basis (3x week) my arms are significantly smoother and some of those darker patches are fading away! In addition, I didn’t experience any irritation from the grains. The product definitely makes me look and feel so much smoother. This is a keeper!
