I like this set because it has so many different games, chess, checkers, domino, backgammon, cribbage, playing cards and poker dice. There is something for everyone and the box looks very attractive on a table or shelf. It's a good item to keep out in the family room.

wow. Limited to only 20 editions this backgammon set by geoffrey parker is for serious players. Made with lots of sterling silver and shagreen, it's housed in an alligator case. I love everything about this, from its purpose to its gorgeous construction. I'm nothing short of obsessed with games - from chess to Apples to Apples - and would gladly have game night three times a week (or 7) if schedules allow... You've never met anyone in the world wprse at this game than me. However, if I was ever going to take it up, it'd obviously be on this set. The board is stamed leather. The pieces, leather as well.

This is a really practical 3-in-1 board game setup that includes chess, checkers, and backgammon. A great value; this is an excellent space and money saver. I like the finish on it too. It doesn't look cheap at all.

I'm not sure we remember how to play backgammon, but our tenth anniversary is coming up and this seems like a great gift to give him before we go away for the weekend. We'll be able to play together when we aren't playing together...
