Gordon Ramsay
I just love Gordon Ramsay. First, I love that he elicits a very strong love him or hate him reaction in people. In America, if you have only seen him on the highly sensationalized Hell's Kitchen, you might not care for him (as I initially did not). it seems like he is always angry and yelling at people for no reason. I then watched Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and the F Word (both on BBCA) and got an entire new perspective and a huge amount of respect for Mr. Ramsay. On Hell's Kitchen, you only see him yelling. Seeing him on his other shows you see that that yelling, comes from a motivation of wanting people to do their best and seeing the potential in people. You also see a man who cares greatly for his family, friends and the quality of the food he cooks. Its that passion and motivation for excellence that drives GR, and is part of why I have come to really like and respect him. He also makes amazing food.
