This band is so cool, very funky, follows their own beat. They sound like they emerged from Woodstock rubble brandishing cowbells, a gibson SG and a choir of angels. Definitely a good buy. Amazon.com or Itunes

I like to think of this as one of the Beastie Boys album where they're ,well, still The Beastie Boys (at least in my eyes). It's that classic rock/rap style and a helluva good time.

If you ever get the opportunity to see them live the daughter will play the drums, the dad will play some sort of keyboard contraption and the mother will just put slides up on an old school projector and it'll probably be the coolest show you've seen (it was for me).

To be honest, I had almost forgotten about Beirut. I'm not really sure how because this was one of my favorite albums of '06 and he is completely amazing. Indie folk, pop lovers will all appreciate this one.
