Although "Lulu" fits in the tight sonic space Scott Walker cut into pop music, I like to think of "Lulu" as Opera, or a contemporary refection of that genre. On the other hand, "Lulu" could also be looked at as an audio book, which in someways is more exciting. Still I would love to see how "Lulu" might be translated for the stage or as a silent movie soundtrack.

Wolves in the Throne Room are creating a familiar yet new facet in the process designing a gem like sound and what strikes me is that with each new music invention an epic sound-scape is born in the wake of it.
