L'eau Neuve by Lubin

L'eau Neuve by Lubin

It’s hard to believe that this fragrance was initially released by Lubin in the spring of 1968. Lubin created Eau Neuve to capture the feel of that dynamic nonconformist era. I’ve always believed that things that are well built are built to last. And Eau Neuve is just such an example with their reintroduction of Eau Neuve. Now, as was it was then, this is a 'eau fraiche' featuring vibrant accents of citrus and herbs, which was viewed in the 60’s as a dramatic break from the classic perfumes which seemed too steeped in tradition for the Flower Power generation at the time. This is now hands down my favorite new citrus-based fragrance. The oak moss grounds the citric notes are presented in a way that makes the whole composition seem very refined and grown-up. Not just clean and modern, but absolutely elegant and divinely French. The bright citrus notes - lemon, orange and bergamot – blended seamlessly with peppery lavender, chamomile and clary sage. There is a dose of spice and a hint of flowers and a nice base of wood, musk and oak moss. This still feels brand new. That's a perfect way to describe it. It’s fresh. It’s crisp. It’s clean. Yet there is still a lovely softness in the dry down that is quite unique even for today. Unlike some of the overly simplistic Citrus fragrances currently on the market, Eau Neuve has a subtle and complex nature that is completely sophisticated and yes, will make you feel like a “French woman” every day! The lasting power is very good for a citrus (drier skins will have to reapply after a few hours however). This is great for day time, warmer weather and makes an amazing gift for the citrus lover in your life. As always with Lubin, the bottle is equally a work of art, giving the feeling of elegance and 60’s psychedelica at the same time. Fragrance Notes: Lemon Orange, Lavandin, Bergamot, Thyme, Camomile, Jasmine Flower, Rose Petals, Clary Sage, Coriander, Marjoram, Patchouli, White Musk, Eastern Red Cedar, Mysore Sandalwood, Oakmoss Resin

This was the perfect combination of modern and edgy yet still sophisticated and quite a head turner of a color. This is a gorgeous blue based purple that made me rethink wearing purple altogether. (I basically gave up any variation of purple cosmetics when I was about 13). One coat looked like a very metallic medium toned true purple (no shimmer). The color went on smoothly and I liked the wide bottle top brush for application. However, the second coat took it up a notch and gave it an almost hologram effect where I could then see various deep dark tones of inky purple as well as indigo blue depending on the light. This color is when you want to make a statement, add to a sexy edgy fashion look or just to switch from your usual dark nail color. This looked amazing on our testers with lighter brown skin who had tans (think Christina Milan) and was also stunning on very dark skins (think Grace Jones to Alek Wek). The lasting power, as with all of the other shades I’ve tried, was excellent and it stayed shiny throughout the week. It also resisted chipping very well. This is also amazing on the toes for those of you too shy to use it for a manicure – you will still be sure to have people take a double take! Even my manicurist said she was going to order some for herself she loved it so much! Butter London’s nail products are “3 Free Nail Products”, which means they do not contain harmful chemical products. There is no Formaldehyde, Toluene or DBP.

It goes without saying that the design of this eye palette, like many of the YSL palettes, is exquisite, unique and truly beautiful. But it doesn’t just stop there -- the colors themselves are wonderful and perfect for summer. There are 4 colors in the palette which were inspired by various African terrains. There is a deep chocolate brown (with a touch of eggplant), a true orange (with a touch of rust), a medium creamy yellow shade and a beige shadow. The brown and orange colors are bold, but were buildable if I wanted a more dramatic look. None of the colors has shimmer, they were silky and easy to blend and were a pleasure to play with and combine. The lasting power of the shadows was also good. I didn’t think I would gravitate towards the orange shade as much as I did. The orange was very flattering and not shocking or over the top in any way. I loved combining the orange all over the lid in a light layer with the chocolate in the crease and as an eyeliner on its own or over my eyeliner pencil. I also liked using the yellow and beige for a softer look. These shades are varied enough with darks, brights and neutrals that it will work with all skin tones as well. There is a lot of shadow in the pan and each is very pigmented. This combined with the beautiful limited edition palette design makes it definitely worth the price.

As many know, sensai in Japanese means teacher, instructor. How apt because I've just been taught that Sensai Cellular Performance collection is one of the most efficacious and luxurious lines to be found. What taught me this? My first experience with the Eye Contour Cream. The milk-white cream is ultra soft, delicate and feels like a wash of the finest silk on skin. It is the first I've seen that treats the entire eye, patted underneath it banishes circles and puffiness. Applied to the eyelid it softens lines or wrinkles. It's amazing what that dual treatment does to freshen, brighten and give a more youthful aspect to the eye. Absorbing quickly, it creates a smooth palette for makeup while at night it softens, relaxes skin for a restful sleep. Can't wait to discover what Sensai will teach me next! - Gail Cooke

I have always had high hopes that I would find a toner that would be worthy of the extra skin care step, but I have not always been impressed. However, after using this for toner for several weeks, I can say that this is a great product! It didn't irritate or dry out my sensitive/combination skin, or give me that tight feeling that some toners have. It also didn’t sting like some toners can. This toner has a transparent gel texture and removed flaky skin in one swipe with no irritation. One squirt on a pad was enough to swipe my face (or just t zone). I loved the fact that it’s non-scented and didn’t make me break out. In fact, my face started to look amazing after using this product. Putting this toner before my moisturizer greatly calmed those areas and my skin felt softer and looked healthier. Since my skin texture was better, my makeup application was more even and looked better. I loved that I didn't even have to use a moisturizer some days after using this. NARS skincare also happens to have some of the best looking packaging I've ever seen among skincare brands. It is also a huge bottle, so it is completely worth the price tag.

It’s fruity, but equally fresh and pleasant. The initial notes on me were fresh peach – but not the sickly sweet and cloying type of fragrance. It is pale, clean and sparkling. This lasted a fair while. Then I began to get the flowery notes, such as tuberose, freesia, white hibiscus, white woods and orris. And it just got cozier and warmer as the time passed. I loved the tuberose in it in particular. This fragrance is for the woman who wants "romantic and feminine" more than "sensuous and seductive". While it is girlie, it is not boring, it is sweet and calm and charming. For example, it’s perfect for church, brunch with in-laws, a wedding, and travel. The lasting power is very good (fragrance oil tends to last longer than EDT). I will definitely layer this will the larger bottle for everyday wear however. The roller ball contains the fragrance oil version of the scent. It is quick drying and not greasy, and I loved how I could pinpoint exactly where I wanted the fragrance to go with no muss, no fuss. No, your eyes are not deceiving you…there is also a lip gloss included, which is a sheer cheery, flattering watermelon/cherry shade which was not too sticky, also had a nice peach fragrance, and looked great on many of our testers as it just warmed up the skin with that nice touch of color. Perfect idea for quick touch ups and travel! This is a very well thought out item with a lovely scent to match! I could not have been more pleased this, which was my first Hilfiger scent.

It’s very true to the color described, as it was a very nice light gray/blue on my skin. A pastel color that did not make me look washed out. The formula was fantastic – light and airy on my skin and the shadow lasted all day without creasing or smudging. The pen applicator was so easy to use and quick too! About two swipes on each lid are all I needed. I sometimes finished blending with a brush, but it is certainly possible to still get a very polished look without it. Another bonus is it’s also water resistant, so it wears very well in hot/humid weather. I loved pairing this with a soft rose on the cheeks and lips, which worked well for daytime, and with an extra coat of mascara and a high shine gloss on top of the rose lip for an evening look. This grey will work with all skin tones as it’s not a pale pastel; the blue gives the grayness depth that will show up on very dark skin tones as well e.g. Serena Williams – Alex Wek. I would love to see them expand into even more colors for fall 2008!

I am intrigued by anything that says “smooth” and “brighten”, and throw in the word “instant” and you’ve got me….so did it actually pass the test? This very unique product by Freeze 24/7 beauty is a lighter version of the regular Freeze 24/7 in a light silicone base. As per the directions, I tried it both under my makeup in the morning, as well as over my makeup in the afternoon or evening to fix fine lines, and absorb excess oil. The product worked quickly to smooth the wrinkles around my eyes, smooth my skin and significantly reduced the appearance of my pores around my nose. Note: I found that this product worked best on my bare skin, before I applied makeup. The texture of the product is "whipped" and light -- not crumbly, heavy, or thick. Also, it is not pink or pigmented like except for a pale, pale, pink pigment (non pearly) which helps to diffuse skin imperfections (this does show up somewhat on very dark skin e.g. Alec Wek). It really did have a brightening effect on my skin as well which I loved. The look of the cherry red compact is very futuristic and may look heavy, but it’s very light. It’s not the smallest product (about the size of a small cell phone)so it’s not ideal for a very small evening bag, but will work in your daytime bag or regular cosmetic bag. It also has a built-in mirror and twist mechanism to dispense the actual product. The cap is attached to the rectangular mirror, and you twist the other end to propel the product up. It works like an advanced click pen. This product also helps to defend skin against free radicals and environmental aggressors, including pollution – can’t beat that! This is certainly a product that is a nice treat – but I think you will find that the more you use it, the more you say – “How did I live without it?”

These are small curved gauze-type strips soaked in a soy based concentrate that I laid on my under eye area for about 10-20 minutes. I found after several weeks (using them 2x week) of use that my under eye area really was more hydrated and it also helped with the dark circles. Upon the first use my under eye area was definitely plumper, but after using the masks for a month, I did noticed a significant reduction in fine lines and dark circles. The packaging is also innovative. There are 10 masks which you place on the under eye region. Please note: Once you open the disc that holds the eye patches and add the liquid you have to use the patches within 10 weeks, once you open the product you must use it otherwise they dry out. The eye masks are not individually wrapped so you need to use one at least once a week (but believe me it’s not a hardship!). It really added moisture to my eye area and made that area brighter and fresher. This is a nice addition to my overall skin care routine when I just want to really treat myself with a beauty indulgence!

The packaging is beautiful, with a beautiful vintage velvet black vine with red buds design (creating a subtle “S” for Stila I suppose?) contrasted against a stark white background. One of the best features about the packaging is that the pans are removable (magnetic) and the palette can be reused. All four colors matched perfectly together. The two stars of the palette are the gold eye shadow (upper right hand corner) which is just gorgeous and it made my brown eyes "pop!" Is a beautifully rich gold that is warm, has depth and would look good on everyone. Each of the shadows is buttery smooth and is highly pigmented, making for easy application and long wear. The second standout is the blush. It is beautiful and gave me a natural flush. It is very pigmented though so it should be applied with a very fluffy brush and layered lightly. The blush has no shimmer, it's a matte finish. The other two eye shadows are neutral ones. The lightest shade I used as a very subtle highlight or as a wash. It gave me just a subtle shine. The other shadow is a pretty chocolate shimmer. With the exception of the lightest shade, everything else is super pigmented so use a light hand. Note: The packaging is beautiful, but if you keep this in your purse as opposed to home and it bangs around a lot those fine black threads creating the vine decoration on the cover will shed. If you're looking for a nice nude palette with a twist this is it! It became my go-to when I felt inspired to use neutral and unique bright colors together. And long after this palette's is finished I will be able to continue to enjoy the beauty of the packaging. It is a gift that keeps on giving. The palette as a whole will work best up to a Gabrielle Union complexion, but the eye shadows will work on all skin tones.

The Noire Palette is a lovely palette for a “cool face”, featuring periwinkle blue shadow, pearly pink lavender eye shadow and a cool pink blush. The palette itself has a lovely, unusual design of silver and white flowers and vines with a black background. The black felt on the white and silver is a nice touch The magnetized palette opens up to 3 eye shadows and one blush. No mirror included in the palette. The pans can be taken out and exchanged for the individual Stila eye shadow and blush pans. The top left eye shadow in the Noire Palette is a light pearly pink. I found this to be beautiful for highlighting. The top right eye shadow is a periwinkle blue, which I tended to blend with the bottom left eye shadow which is a sparkly black that was excellent for a smoky eye look. The blush in the bottom right spot is a bright pink. When I used the periwinkle I tended to layer this one more heavily as it is not as pigmented as the others. It read a little more blue/grey on my skin and was very pretty. I tended to use the glittery black quite a bit as both an eye shadow and it also made a nice, soft charcoal liner for a daytime appropriate but smoky look. The blush is actually the winner of the palette. It’s a bright but deep pink color. It looks a little bright in the pan but goes on really sheer, natural and flattering. It just looked like pretty flushed pink cheeks which really complimented my skin tone and not bright pink obvious blush. Because the blush is very pigmented I used it with a light hand. The cost is also a great deal as opposed to buying eye shadow and blush pans plus palette or compact costs. This palette will work best up to an Iman complexion.

From the black and white retro but slightly futuristic Diesel ads to the lace netting on the slightly flask-shaped bottle, I was definitely intrigued with the fragrance. It turns out it’s pretty and a little bit naughty, (which is exactly what their ads are trying to get across). I actually didn’t quite know what to expect before my first spritz, as I am usually not impressed by many mainstream fragrances. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this was a fruity oriental, with rich ambery woodsy notes of an oriental, and the sweet notes of honeyed jasmine, and fruitiness provided by raspberry, mandarin, and blackcurrant. I actually love black currant (jams, cookies and even liqueur), but not every company has been able to capture it properly. Diesel has done it very well however. All together Fuel for Life a pretty and feminine composition and the dry down is gingery and sweetly spicy from the patchouli and pink pepper. When it dries down it gets a little softer and a nice sweet soapy scent comes out. The floral notes are warm and very natural, like a garden in springtime. Fuel for Life is a warm, soft scent, a pleasant mixture of fruity and woody. The lasting power is also superb. This is a really pretty perfume. It's going to make a nice winter scent for me this year. It has also been a lovely going out/night fragrance. Fragrance Notes: Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Patchouli, Black Currant, Raspberry, Musk.

The base of this fragrance is Amour, which was a big hit with me last year. This version has been modified. In this version there is less vanilla and more notes of peony, rose, frangipani, thanaka wood, and incense. It’s a completely different take on the fragrance, and but I was still just as happy with this version. This limited-edition fragrance called was inspired by the Indian festival of colors, called Spring's Holi. I love the Indian reference, as this really encompasses a beautiful aspect of the Indian culture which has never been tapped by a major fragrance house. As with the original Amour, I loved the bottle, which in this case is just as striking in shape, with the added dimension of the beautiful blend of fuchsia, red, and orange bottle with gold Indian lettering. Yes, this definitely was an intrigued blend that really captured my attention because at times it read more flowery and others the incense was prominent. It’s still an easy to wear fragrance that’s appropriate for day or night, and will really make you stand out at the same time.

Yes, this may be the most expensive mask that I have ever tried – but as I have learned time and time again with the La Mer line, it is worth it. This mask is actually a series of components that work together. There are pieces of upper and lower part cotton mask in a box along with a primer serum. When I applied the primer my skin was soothed, and softened in an instant. Talk about incredible..... I then went on to apply the sheet masks. These are the most luxurious mask sheets ever - made of the thickest and softest cotton soaked in a white lotion. They felt great on my skin and fit perfectly. After about 8 minutes (as directed) or so I removed it and went ahead to apply my (La Mer) cream and went to bed. I woke up with the supplest, clearest skin (even more so than just using the La Mer!), that was toned and very glowy. Despite the richness of the mask, I had no clogged pores in my t zone or breakouts. I must say that this is the most effective mask I have used to date and as the weeks went on I found that the effects accumulated and more than a few people said how amazing my skin looked. Highly recommended...

Sekkisei was one I was not previously familiar with, but I’m really pleased with my first outing. Although it’s labeled a “lotion”, its consistency is that of a slightly thick water, which I applied with a cotton pad. I had an amazing glow that has made me never want to give this product up. It made my skin feel smoother, so soft and clean/refreshed. A truly lovely luxury for the skin!

The first thing that struck me was that this cream was in a tall sturdy jar (plastic not glass) with the lovely gold lettering. I found this thick rich cream perfect for my very dry skin but not too greasy to use during the day. This also made a nice hand cream and foot cream for my dry skin. It is significantly perfumed like most French lines (floral/fresh mix) and decadent in price, but oh what a lovely way to keep skin soft and supple! Because of the packaging this is best for leaving on a vanity or larger open space in your bathroom. It really made me feel glamorous and decadent when using it after my shower. As for the performance I was very impressed. I didn’t get any of my usual dry patches when using this. The cream is very concentrated and silky so it spreads easily and a little goes a long way. This is a new winter time must have for my body skin care routine. P.S. This crème is for very dry, dehydrated skin. For slightly dry skin try the lotion version of Hydrofilia, (which is also perfumed).

The texture of the lotion was a medium, silky blend which was just as luxurious feeling as the body wash. The fragrance is completely different from the wash. This one was more of a fresh/marine scent with a trace of citrus. Most impressive for me however was the moisturization power of this cream! Just a few pumps each day covered my entire body and created lasting moisturization, even on problem areas for me like my lower legs and thighs, which always seem to be the driest parts of my body. It hydrated without feeling sticky or greasy or leaving a film, which is important to me. I really love this body cream and it’s going to be one of my new body care staples!

This is one of the freshest, vibrant and uplifting fragrances I have tried in quite a while. To begin with the packaging, I loved the gorgeous fuchsia colored glass bottle at first site. The beautifully gold cut out YSL logo band beneath the stopper is also a glamorous touch I loved. The very first time I used it, it really blew me away. The combination which did this for me was their lychee note combined with the rose. This gave it the edge and uniqueness it needed to really make this stand out, as Rose can at times in fragrances come across as over familiar and without much thought. At first the citrus notes burst though to my nose as well as on my skin, and then the sweetness kicked in (with notes of peony and litchi.). After a short period of time the freesia softened the citrusy sweetness with a pinch of pink pepper, and then I could detect a very mild a rose note and a hint of soft wood. As the day went on it mellowed and mellowed but the lasting power was phenomenal. The fragrance ended up being very mild, and I found that I continually smelled my wrist because of the lovely scent, and even as it mellowed towards the end of the day. What I really loved is the sense I of joy I got from this fragrance. It just made me smile every time I wore it. This scent does not overplay the rose, not does it overdo the lychee. The base is lovely and dry, woodsy but not overly so. This has originality and an olfactory punch. Modern and chic, contemporary and glamorous. The bottle is simple but with a colorful modern-young-glamorous vibe – and yes, even though I’m not a real “pinky” type of girl, I loved that they did a gorgeous fuchsia pink bottle. I Loved looking at the bottle just as much as I loved wearing the fragrance. This makes a perfect day fragrance, and (which also came to mind), a Sunday church/brunch or wedding fragrance, and of course an amazing Valentine’s gift for the fragrance lover in your life! Fragrance Notes - Peony, Vetiver, Patchouli, Woody Note, Jasmine, Pink berries, Lychee, Citron

I really have gotten used to multi-purpose beauty products, so a moisturizer must do more than one thing (and well) to get my attention. This is definitely a moisturizer that I liked more and more the longer I used it and saw multiple results. This moisturizer has illuminating shimmer, as well as sunscreen and skin evening properties. I did like this from the start – It's got a light, pleasant scent that reminded me vaguely of marshmallows (a very nice change of pace actually). The texture is not tacky, comfortable enough on the face so I didn’t feel sticky, (but I did need to wash my hands after applying). It is light-to-mid weight, features a subtle pearly bronze shimmer (which helps provide the "healthy glow") and the sunscreen is avobenzone based. After several weeks my skin looked more even and I really liked the way my skin glowed even if I didn’t wear much make up. I didn’t experience any breakouts or clogging of my pores. I think this is really a lovely product from this new CHANEL skin care line that deserves your attention! Note: This product will work best on normal to drier skins.

This mask it not only provided exfoliation but also tightened my pores and gave me a glow that was just unbelievable. I applied it on my freshly cleaned skin and left it on for 5-7 minutes. It is orange and the texture is sticky as opposed to creamy, which left a thin film over my face. I did feel a little sting at first but it went away as I left this on my face and neck. It was very easy to rinse off with water and a wash cloth. It instantly made my skin glow, and all products that I put on my face afterwards were absorbed much better than they were pre-mask. I am usually oily in the T-zone and dry everywhere else and my skin had much more balance. After using the mask my pores appeared much smaller as well. I was happy to also see some black heads gone too! I applied my moisturizer right after using this and felt it soaking into my face and neck. The skin on my neck also improved dramatically as well. I found that after regular use it really was useful for maintaining a healthy balance of moisture and oil control in my skin! In addition my skin feels softer that it ever has. This mask also contains a skintone evening complex (perfect for hyperpigmentation) made up of Azelaic, Glycolic and Lactic Acids. This is why there is a tingling sensation; but it is not a hurtful sting, however I would not recommend this for those with very sensitive skin. The jar is very large and a little goes a long way, which makes this luxury purchase more than worth the price for the amazing results I got.

Sunny Yellow is part of their Spring ‘08 Color Fizz line. In the compact (very sleek, modern and I loved the mirror inside) it appeared to be as sunny a yellow as the name would suggest. When I applied the color on my lid, I found it very pigmented, smooth and very blendable. It's a great true warm sunny yellow color that really brightened my whole face. On me it showed up as a true yellow on me, but with a touch on gold. I also found that it worked well layered with bronzes and pretty caramel shades to create a soft, pretty look. I was very impressed with the staying power of this shadow, which was amazing. This can be applied lighter for a day time look that is quite appropriate for a work setting or more intensely for a more dramatic look in the evening. I also found that this color looked best with a dark brown or brown eyeliner to soften the yellow effect a bit. This color will work best on warmer complexions and up to a Gabrielle Union shade.

The Cooling Eye Gel Illuminator is one of my favorite products from the LUCI collection. It’s a very light cream eye shadow that appears to be an opalescent pearl shade out of the tube, but as soon as it hit my skin it turned into the most beautiful combination or soft pink, peach and apricot, reflecting different colors wherever the light hit it. It was noticeable but definitely not too over the top or distracting. I loved the effect! I used it on my brow bone on top of my cheekbones and even experimented applying it on top of a neutral power shadow. It really brought out my features. It very creamy in consistency and does have a very brief, cooling effect which was pleasant. I also applied just a little with a small brush on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten my entire eye area (great after a late night!). Because this color reflects light off of the skin, this looks great on all skin tones as well! On some people they will see more pink, others more of a peach or even violet tone at times.

This particular product is the perfect marriage of product innovation, luxury, and out of-the-box thinking in terms of product packaging. L.U.C.I EYES light color in motion duo eye shadow in Apricot is a brilliant shade. It looked so vibrant in the “shell” that it is encased in. As a matter of fact, the shell itself actually has a heft to it such that you really feel like you have picked up an actual shell on the beach! I also thought the peal in the upper left hand corner is a brilliant touch and the shell like detail on the outside of the shell case is just beautiful. As for the shadows themselves, I could do nothing but marvel at how the apricot when applied on my lid became this lovely mix of bronze, pink and copper. I often wore just this shade because I was so happy with it. But of course I wanted to try the white photonic shade that comes with it too at times. With just a touch of the white shade, the apricot became, pearly, iridescent yet not too bright. The way the light reflected off of the shade was amazing. I loved that essentially you can get three different shadow looks from this compact. I could use the apricot alone, the white photonic eye shadow over it, the white photonic shadow alone (or as a highlighter on the brow bone) or sometimes I would get a completely different color by putting the photonic shadow on first, and then the apricot! This color will work with all skin tones, but if you are darker than a Serena Williams shade, this will work better as a highlighting shade, mixed with deeper coppers and browns. This is truly an innovation in color cosmetics, and a definitely collector’s item for the packaging as well.

From the beautiful embellished flowers on a light luminescent pale pink background, to the shimmery gold case, this was a joy to look at and to use. I loved using is as an accent to my peach or coral toned blushes. The “pollen” center of the flower is a glittery hot pink (which actually goes on quite soft and complemented my skin tone nicely). I loved applying it on my cheek bones, and under the brow. When I wanted to use it as more of an actual cheek color, I swirled the pale and hot pink together with the soft brown to get a very flattering medium pink with subtle shimmer. This is very pretty for spring and will work as a shimmer accent for all skin tones, and has enough pigment to work as an actual blush up to about a Nia Long complexion.

The scent is fresh and bright and not too cloying or sweet. I always looked forward to using this in the mornings as it really was a lovely way to start the day. The texture of the shower gel is silky with a medium weight and very concentrated to a little goes a long way. It made a nice lather with divine fragrance when the water hit it as well. The formula was also moisturizing for my body, so I didn’t feel stripped after I rinsed, but there was also not a “coating” or film left on my body, which I personally prefer. I love Ted’s elegant packaging with the beautiful flower motif on the bottle as well. Great new product from this line!

I have dry skin and am sometimes wary of using perfumed body lotions because they can dry out my skin more at times it seems. However, Ted’s Transformation Body did not do this at all. The texture of the lotion was almost that of a hair “conditioner” not exactly a lotion, but almost like a light mousse texture that is silky smooth and spreads on the body like a dream. The fragrance was so amazing that many days I skipped any other fragrance to just continue smelling this grapefruit based scent (It’s still not super strong or aggressive). This is perfect because I liked layering other citrus based fragrances on top of this after applying and found they works unbelievably well together. The lotion kept my skin soft and supple and even worked on my stubborn parts like my elbows and knees. I can’t wait to try the other fragrances.
