Ice Elements Skin Care
Another great beauty secret!! I am very picky about my skin care products, and only want the best. I highly recommend two items from this line that can be used with any skin care routine or line. The 2 minute miracle exfoliating gel and the micro sphere surface enhancer. The exfoliator is nothing like I have ever used. There are not any harsh beads or abrasive ingredients. You simply put it on and wait 1-2 min and massage your face in circular motions to exfoliate. Your skin will be baby soft and ready for your normal routine. I use it 2 times a week, but it is gentle enough to be used more often. The surface enhancer is a daily product to be used before you makeup. It smooths fine lines and minimizes pores allowing your makeup to go on flawlessly! It does not flake or turm your skin white; it is undetectable. Once you try these products, you will wonder how you did with out!!!

My hands at the time were so dry and cracked that every other cream I tried to use to moisturize would burn my skin (cause of the alcohol content) This hemp hand protector was the only one that didn't burn. It's super thick and buttery. The only prob I found with it was that sometimes when traveling the top would unscrew and it cream would be everywhere. * They now have a full line of Hemp products including a face cream that is great in the winter too!

this stuff definitely works. beauty sleep? you don't need that when you have this. keeps the dark circles and puffs away, and even helps diminish the look of wrinkles. kit runs at around $110, and it's worth it.

For my face, I am very finicky about the texture, the smell, the staying power and also the convenience level of the packaging (must be travel/gym ready). This new Clarins sunscreen was a relief in a sea of sunscreen I have been testing for the last month or so. I love the little cylinder tube which is super portable. The formula itself is very lightweight and on the thin side, but so concentrated I didn’t need much to cover my face (so it is very long lasting). There is a light fragrance, which dissipated quickly. The lotion glided on my skin without a trace of stickiness, white cast, or oil. The finish was matte. I found that it was light enough to be layered over my favorite serum and under my liquid bronzer or tinted moisturizer that I tend to favor in the summer months. As a matter of fact, this is actually the perfect skin primer before makeup application. The lasting power was fantastic on days I was working, running around outside or actually sunning at the beach. I had no breakouts or irritation from the product and it didn’t run or melt on my skin. It also left my skin soft and moisturized without feeling oily, so on the weekends I would just wear this with a little mascara and lip color and I was good to go! This is a non-chemical sunscreen which many of you will also appreciate. It’s made from 100% minerals. Yes, this is another product that is indeed worth every penny and I will be stockpiling! Note: As an added bonus if you are like me and always around computer screens, Clarins has added protection against electromagnetic waves in this formula.

It's funny how life works. I usually have good skin with an occasional blemish every now and then. Well, on a Friday morning I woke up to a huge pimple on my cheek (cannot ignore that!) and I had about 2 days before a big fami... It's funny how life works. I usually have good skin with an occasional blemish every now and then. Well, on a Friday morning I woke up to a huge pimple on my cheek (cannot ignore that!) and I had about 2 days before a big family event (tons of pics that were going to be taken), to get rid of it. It was that day I saw the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion I had been asked to review and I hoped that it would work as well as I have heard over the years. I decided to begin my assault that morning a few hours before work, Although the product is meant for over night use because it leaves little pink clay dots on the skin where it is applied. (Not attractive but I can live with it). I made sure to use it as per the instructions (not shaking the bottle, instead putting the q tip directly into the bottom of the bottle and pulling it straight out so that the pink clay lotion surrounds the tip). I applied it to my pimple and went back to bed. I woke up a few hours later to begin getting ready for work and rinsed it off. While it obviously had not dissapeared, it was noticably less red and a tiny bit smaller. So far so good... That evening before bed I used it in the same manner and the next morning it was much smaller and had almost completely dried up, without irritating the rest of the skin around it. That night I repeated the process and the day of the event just used a small dab of concealer and I could not see anything. I would say that if you have signifinant acne, then you need a intensive acne skin care/prescription product, but for those of you who get an occasional pimple, skin irritation and/or white heads this is a fantastic product, (and given a day or two) will clear them up completely. It should be noted that the packaging is glass, so it should be wrapped and sealed in a zip lock bag when you travel to avoid breakage. This product will always be in my skin care collection, no matter what! Since just a tiny bit is needed for a pimple, (and if you have them infrequently), this will easily last a year, also making it a smart skin care investment treatment.
