Don't let the dorky ear flaps fool you, they fold right up inside. This hat is bad ass. I have owned the same hat for five years and it still in great condition. Very warm, but it breaths. If it's real cold, you don't really think about how the flaps make you look like Elmer Fudd. Beat the hell out of it and throw it right in the wash, comes out good as new, if not better. Mine has that nice broken in, but not busted to hell look.
