Description: The gang decides to give up their backstabbing ways and embrace the giving spirit of the holiday season. Of course if you know Charlie, Dennis, Mac, Dee, and Frank, you realize that this is something that could never happen, and by the time Christmas Eve rolls around the Paddy's crew has proved that they're no less morally bankrupt than they were the last time Santa's sleigh came flying into Philadelphia.

From All Movie Guide: Creating effective social satire is no easy task -- just ask Sacha Baron Cohen. Shortly after scoring a hit in the U.K. with Da Ali G Show, Baron Cohen attempted to translate his unique brand of humor to the big screen with the disastrously unfunny Ali G Indahouse. Conventional narrative form simply didn't fit his spontaneous, on-the-spot style, and in order to remain relevant he was forced to innovate. Fortunately for him, the secret of Baron Cohen's genius was still only known to a (relatively) select few, so when Borat hit the big screen in 2006, most folks were blindsided by the boorish, yet morbidly endearing character. But the same character who also shot Baron Cohen to fame threatened to become his downfall -- these days his schtick isn't nearly as easy to pull off as it was just three years ago, but pull it off he does in Brüno, a boisterous, taboo-smashing satire that establishes its star as the Andy Kaufman of his generation, and nearly earns him an ass-whooping on more than ...

From All Movie Guide: Here's the deal with Twilight: Edward Cullen, a 100-something-year-old vampire who doesn't look a day over 17, is attending high school along with his adoptive vampire family. He's beautiful (Robert Pattinson is on the path to being the most sought-after man-child since Romeo + Juliet-era Leonardo DiCaprio), he can read minds, and virtually all of his female classmates alternate between fear (he's got something predatory going on) and lovesickness (but he's SOOOOO cute). In any case, he isn't interested. Enter Bella Swan, Teenage Girl. She's the new kid in a small, perpetually overcast Washington town called Forks. Her first days of school aren't exactly traumatizing; she makes friends easily and attracts her fair share of Forks boys, but she doesn't fit in and misses her home in Arizona. Everything changes after she locks eyes with Edward Cullen, who doesn't know if he should kill Bella (he admits the scent of her blood is like his "brand of heroin") or allow himself to fall in love w...

Joe were aghast when they read the cast list for the 2009 film adaptation of their beloved franchise. Full of teen heartthrobs and tabloid darlings, and with an oddly demure young lad playing the badass Cobra Commander (that kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun?), the usually relishable dream-casting stage of the project fizzled out pretty fast. But even with a weird mix of actors and the use of silly costumes, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra definitely pays homage to the animated series -- so much so, that if your inner 11-year-old isn't ready to come out and play, you can probably just stop reading now and cross this movie off your list.

From All Movie Guide: Trying to reinvent the romantic comedy is like trying to reinvent the wheel -- highly ambitious, but nearly impossible to execute. Such is the case with The Ugly Truth, the latest Katherine Heigl vehicle, which falls back on an all too familiar story: Type-A career woman meets crass, rough-around-the-edges man-child, they do the love-hate tango, and in the end realize they're perfect for each other.
