Back in college, I wanted to be the guy with the $25 couch, the $50 TV, the $500 car, and the $12,000 stereo system. And I was, for a while... until I dropped out and realized I couldn't afford to hire a moving company to help carry that behemoth. Today, the Bose Wave Music System is a must-own for any serious music lover. It's hard to believe that such ridiculously crisp, clear music (and speakers powerful enough to make you remember why you don't rock out to 120 dBs of Slayer anymore) can come from such a small device, but it does. Add in the multi-CD changer, and you get hours of music in a sleek, compact system that can be moved from room to room, depending on where the mood takes you. I wouldn't trade my Bose for any other stereo system out there, and I don't even have the multi-CD changer on mine. This is a truly amazing piece of equipment.

  • These sound GREAT and are quite a bit less expensive than the QC2/QC3 phones. And they actually do a pretty good job of blocking outside noise.

I also tend to wear them in the office which allows me to focus on my work without being distracted by the sounds of a typical office.
