Before insight, it had been a while since I had gotten that giddy feeling that I get when I fall in love with an item of clothing. I get butterflies in my stomach, my scalp tingles... you get the idea. So when I came across insight for the first time at The Closet, I knew it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Their stuff is cute, clever and cheeky without being too precious.

I'm really excited that denim shirts are now becoming acceptable to wear, but if anyone wears one of these over jeans I'd be very unhappy. But over a dress or skirt, definitely works.

It's kind of a denim shirt, but not. I'm attracted to the dressed down, almost grungy aspect of a denim button down, but the clean details of J. Crew making it classy and wearable with colorful, non-denim bottoms (duh).
