Joy Division: Grant Gee
It's a beautiful film, all 96 Minutes are packed full glistening image and sound, the story of the rise of Joy Division is a postmodern fable worthy of the biggest screen you can find.
Magazine's album "No Thyself" is the real thing. The sound has shifted slightly in this post Barry Adamson (bassist) lineup, but all in all it is very much a Magazine sound. Thanks for that.
Tim Buckley's "Song To The Siren" as sung by Liz Fraser makes it all worth while.
Such a great movie. R.i.p Ian curtis.
