Here's why (mind you it's 4 layers and has a spider web decoration on top): "Between each rich layer of cake is a silky chocolate buttercream, and the sides are finished with almond toffee crunch. The cake is baked for us by Northern California’s Rubicon Bakery, using only the finest natural ingredients, including premium Guittard chocolate, creamery buttery and fresh eggs." Halloween has never sounded so good, really.

mmm.... one of my first stops anytime I'm in San Francisco is the Recchiuti tore in the ferry building, and these are some of my favorites... just the right saltiness on your tongue to balance the sweet caramel. heavenly.
