Toffifay / Toffifee

Toffifay / Toffifee

Toffifay (in the US), Toffifee (elsewhere) is a curious on the chocolate / hazenut combination. Each piece is a firm caramel cup filled with nougat, a whole hazelnut and topped with a drop of chocolate. The texture is a nice mix of creamy (chocolate) and gooey (caramel). Though Toffifay is of European origin, they market it under this name to the US market. Still, few people know about it. Some say that its meant to compete with Ferrero Rocher - I honestly think they are both great, though they are too different for serious comparison.

Chocolate Covered Altoids! Seriously! I'm not a huge mint and chocolate fan but these do the trick and make me itch for more! Each mint is covered with a rich layer of rich dark chocolate. The mixture balances the two into a poppable treat. I nearly went through an entire tin the first time I tried them! You have to try these! Its fresh breath and a chocolate fix in one!
