Jonas Damon's LED Alarm Clock
"This is the latest member of Jonas Damon's Open Edition, a collection of home objects that arrives at the new by revisiting the familiar. All the different pieces of the collection are only a step or two away from their origins as comercially available items, yet present themselves as something entirely different. The clock is a series of cubes, each displaying one glowing number and when placed in the correct order, it displays the current time. We liked the idea of abstracting time and breaking it up into a set of constantly changing numbers. " Creative product designers. I love them. It's such an interesting idea to take something so standard - like a clock display - and turn it into something completely new. Very fun. Intellectually stimulating, too.
My troubles with waking up are endless and consistently unresolved. Adding more alarm clocks is really the only viable option. And, i'm really appreciating the classic, vintage look, feel and sound this one has going for it.

And honestly, the thing we care about most when it comes to a clock are the numbers. They tell us when we're late, or on time—for once. That's why the numbers clock is so great. Stripped down to the most basic and necessary components, you can stack and rearrange the time as you please.
