This was one of the past fairs definite highlights and it has been all over the design blogs over the past weeks: Flamp Noir. A genius idea: Have a lamp in a truly portable container, need it in the office, no problem, take it there. Want it in the living room – pick it up and drop it where you need it. It's a very straightforward design, a cardboard box – pretty similar to a wine carrier – with the quintessential shape of a traditional table lamp die cut and colored film to create a specific mood. size info: 13.75"x8.25"x4" (35 x 21 x 10 cm) and the fact that it is available in 7 fab colors, Colors: Blue, Green, Orange, Pink

Don't get us wrong, we like the outdoors and all that, but putting up tents or sleeping in a sleeping bag is just not us. We do like a couple things that usually come along with camping though and our favorite must be the campfire. It's just the sight of flames, the warmth, it being a center piece that usually has a bunch of people sitting around it, all that is very nice. Lucky for us, Wolf Udo Wagner's Ponton Fireplace works indoors as well as it does outdoors, allowing us to recreate the same type of feeling in the beauty of our home. His distinctively modern rendition burns on bio-alcohol and lasts about 1 – 1.5 hours, depending on the size of the flame that you enjoy most. Bio-alcohol has minimal CO2 emissions, so it's completely safe to burn indoors. The Ponton is made out tempered glass and stainless steel in Germany, giving it an extremely solid feel which is pretty essential for a mobile fireplace that you can pretty much place anywhere in your home. The overall diameter is 18 cm or 7" and the height is 27,5 cm or 11", so not all that big and clunky, the perfect centerpiece for a low sofa table or your rooftop garden. We've even dragged it to the beach, where it's just as lovely and leaves much less of a mess.

True or not, I can see why this might have affected them so much. Everyone has one little piece of home that they need to have with them where ever they travel, be it a MacDonalds in France, a Calvin Klein in Italy or perhaps a Seven 11 in Tokyo just to make someone feel at home. If tea's is your thing, here's your answer. These teas are packaged in a wool bag-envelope that unfolds like a cross and the size is perfect to pack away in your suitcase. The beautiful packaging is by Les Petites Emplettes for Leaf, and the tea is better still! These natural loose leaf teas come in flavours like: earl grey scented with natural bergamot from Sicily, white tea, green tea scented with osmanthus, black tea scented with rose, black tea scented with lychee, and regular black tea. There have only been 500 of these made, so you better bet they'll be gone even before the water's finished boiling!
