No matter where you are in the world, if you want to take liquids onto a plane, they better not be in a bottle that exceeds 2 fl.oz. other wise it's going into the trash. No matter whether it's some fancy conditioner or plain old toothpaste. Now whilst plain old toothpaste does come in travel sizes, your fancy conditioner most likely doesn't. Does that mean that you have to use the hotel brand? Nope. It certainly doesn't, because we're not down on hotel brand conditioner. That's why we are so incredibly happy about these fantastic silicone travel bottles that do the best job at carrying our product.

This particular design has a silicone lid that securely attaches to the cup. The outside is matte and the inside is glazed. I prefer a version that Starbucks put out a few months ago. Their version is pretty much the same, but the outside is glazed (and of course has their logo) and the lid is plastic with a silicone liner to keep liquids sealed in. The key difference between the two is the price. "I Am Not A Paper Cup" is roughly $20 and the Starbucks version is $12. The upsides to either is that if you are a daily coffee drinker, you don't have to trash a paper cup and plastic lid every time you get take-out coffee. The downside is that both of them hold about 8 oz. - not favorable if you normally order a "grande" at Starbucks. Another issue for commuters is that it is not spill-proof or splash-proof. And finally, the Starbucks version CANNOT go into the microwave.

The silicone that's used by German designer Tanja Hartmann makes those rings look so real that you immediately want to start sucking on them. Luckily they are made out of silicone and not sugar and egg whites, because that makes them a lot more durable then the real thing and trust us, sucking on your finger doesn't really go down all that well in public.

  • Is this not the best idea? Everyone either wants a slice that's "extra huge" or "not too big". This cake mold makes it easier to please everyone, with sizes from Small to Extra large.
