A better, faster and more environmentally friendly way to give your auto a bath, this solution requires no rinsing. Additionally, any run-off from the 1-2 gallons you use in the process can be scooped up into a bucket and safely washed down your kitchen drain. So, you can also recycle at least some of the water that you do use. Washing my car has never been my favorite chore, but this will at least make me feel green all over while I'm doing it.

When I get lazy and indeed forgo that chore, I'm rewarded by snowdrifts onto my windshield as I'm driving. I like this, but I certainly don't get as much snow as pictured! It's also not limited to vehicles. It could be used on stairs, decks... anything that accumulated lots of snow that could be easily cleared by pulling or pushing it off.

It keeps your hands clean while you are cooking or playing with your children. It also helps prevent contamination, which reduces the threat of certain illnesses and infections. Because the trashcan turns an ordinary chore into something fun, your kids will have fun throwing the trash away for you. In addition, the Touchless Trashcan outlasts most of the step-on and hand-touch cans. If you can't touch it, you can't break it! These cans have been opened 100,000 times in laboratory tests, and they're still going strong. In fact, if you open your can 20 times a day, it can last over 10 years. This could actually be the last trashcan you ever buy, which will save you money, mess, and time.

No more hassle with drippy bags, and time consuming trash removal. The StashCan makes your trash routine far simpler, cleaner, and speedier. Step on StashCan's foot pedal to open the lid to dispose of your garbage. Once your trash is full, simply open the stainless steel rimmed top and pull out the removable, lightweight, plastic liner containing the full trash. Remove your full trash bag and clean the liner . Replacing the liner with a new, unused trash bag is simple due to the storage unit in the top, rear of the can. Never search around your kitchen for trash bags again! This separate trash bag compartment allows new bags to be easily accessed by pulling upward on the next available bag in the roll or stack. Once replaced, pop the liner back into the StashCan. With the StashCan, trash removal is a chore that you and your children won’t mind completing!

I figured they just had chores to do and they should do them. However, I would end up spending money on them at the store for things they wanted that I didn't necessarily want to buy them. I started out giving them each $2.50/wk. I then assigned a small dollar value to each chore (.5c / day for giving the dogs water; .25c/week for picking up the doggy poo, etc). I do not remind them to do their chores. If they do not do them, I do it and just deduct it off their allowance. They certainly are paying better attention to what they need to do. I have everything listed on a Chore Chart with the value for each thing. If one child does the chore for the other ... I give the other the money for it, as if "paying" them to do it for them. So far it's working. A lot of great advice in the book about respecting your parents too. This was a great read. Kudos to Dr. Leman.

I always swore that I would keep a record of my baby's milestones and keep a great baby book, but that never seemed to happen. Maybe if I had something as cool as this organized Birthday Yearbook, I would have been more opt to do it. All it takes is 20 minutes a YEAR to write down all the things your child did. Peculiar and unusual are not adjectives typically used to describe baby toys and decor. But not Our Children's Gorilla. Just as it's name might lead you to believe, this Swedish company's designs border on the bizarre, but in a good way. Looking at the products from Our Childrens Gorilla, makes us want to be a 5-years old again. Their line is innovative, original, fun, creative and simply functional. As a kids we remember building little huts out of card board boxes and sleeping in them for days! But whenever it would rain, they would be destroyed. And if we wanted to carry them to the park, it was a huge chore. Especially when the castle sized ones - it literally felt like were lugging a giant tractor! We wished The Scullcave existed back then. It is the perfect solution! It’s lightweight, portable and most of all durable. So you can set this up anywhere you feel like crawling into a ball with your playmate, indoor or outdoor and you can do this over and over again. We wonder if they would ever make a larger adult size one?

One, their lanky size takes up a cumbersome amount of freezer space. Then two, the removing of ice cubes is such a chore, and the cubes don't always come out perfectly. For everyone who has ran hot or warm water under an ice tray, this product is for you. I have found these trays to come in five different colors; light blue, deep blue, red, 80's neon green, and pink. The trays are small, compact, but manage to produce big enough cubes, about one square inch per cube. For our hot days, we manage to go through about 6 trays of ice a day, if not more. You can easily store 10 of these trays by stacking them. As long as you don't fill them all the way, or else you have them stuck together. If you have friends or family who have moved to an area with a temperate climate, then I suggest getting these as part of a housewarming basket.
