Contrasts intrigue me. The contrast of black and white and of smooth fabric and velvet makes this dress one that would last beyond this season. I'm thinking maybe not quite ready for the weekend evenings, but perfect for going out on holiday weeknight and a perfect for holiday weekend dinners. Plus, the velvet makes you look so touchable.

This is a wonderful party dress. The colours are so warm, the print and dress style so elegant. I can't see well if the *background* is black or brown. I hope it's brown ;)

This dress would divinely suit that purpose. It's a knee length dress with a flattering skirt and boat neck (say hello to my pretty collarbones).

Add that to a little bit of tulle, which adds dimensions to the basic black and this is a dress I'd definitely go out in.
