Handmade With Vintage Brass Components Bib Necklace by paleodeux
I made this beautiful brass necklace using vintage components. Brass bars, beads, chains, and links are set together to form the nine droplets of the necklace. The necklace ends with a lobster claw clasp for closure. Measurements: The necklace is 19" in length with a 3" extension chain so it can become even longer. The longest droplet is 2 1/4" and the shortest is 2" long.

The rectangular shaped locket is molded in a beautiful filigree base and has a large sodalite cabochon setting in the center. The hinged locket opens to reveal a compartment which can hold two pictures inside. The gold tone chain is made of oval links connected together. The chain is very long 28" and ends with a spring ring clasp for closure. The locket is 2"x 1 3/8". The sodalite gem stone along is approximately 3/4"x 1/2". The piece is in excellent vintage condition.

The Eagle stamp is marked with the number one. The eagle stamp is a mark used on old mexico sterling silver pieces (circa 1950s- 1960s) and the number 1 represents the place in which the piece was made ( Mexico City). The piece comes with its old original sterling silver chain. The chain is long and ends with a hook and eye clasp. On the hook is a marking too but it is not clear.
