Because the newer 'fat' nano's have been released the older versions of this tiny music player can now be had for bargain prices. Sure the newer nano's have a larger screen, but it is still too tiny to watch a movie or tv show from comfortably. The surface of the older nano's do scratch easily but it's a small price to pay since these are going for so cheap now.

Subsequently, if you're the kind of person that identifies with Ferrari, you might as well have a laptop that says as much.
