My love for military style garments and black and white stripes are combined in this structured jacket from Top Shop. However, because of the ankled front, you do need a reasonably flat stomach to pull it off.

I know houndstooth is EVERYWHERE this winter...from coats to bags to even shoes. But there's something to be said for this subtle black and white pea coat with the fabulous collar. Rock it :)

I've always thought houndstooth (no matter the scale) was very smart and spiffy. I'd wear this with my knee-high Kenneth Cole boots, polished to a reflective shine.

I just love this trench! Picture it with a brightly colored scarf! So lovely. This Forever21 version is MUCH more affordable than the designer animal print trenches I have been pining after.

This houndstooth coat looks so smart with its asymmetrical lapel and that wide buckle belt. Very flattering.
