Beetlejuice (1988)
Back in 1988, when I first watched Beetlejuice as a kid, it scared me because things just jumped out at you unexpectedly. Then after I watched it second time, I wasn't scared at all. But now...whenever I watch this movie, it always made me smile. Why? I guess it has to do with my childhood. :-)

Certainly one of the funniest movies ever made, but it also has an often overlooked, but tightly wound and very enjoyable plot. The dude just wants his rug back. Hilarity ensues.

One of the most amazing shows out of John Cleese of Monty Python. It's situated in a hotel Cleese owns and must act pleasant to all he despises, which makes for some true comedy.

ßure, he was in Airheads before, but I think this remains Adam Sandler's first really big film. It's an absolutely iconic film from the 90s and something that will be quoted for a very long time.

For me, this was the first Cohen Brothers film I saw. In no questionable way, it transformed me into a lifetime fan. And, even though it was made over 20 years ago, it remains one of the funniest films I've ever seen.
