Fat Pig Chocolate
There are two things in this world that we love. Chocolate and great design. So now that someone has combined the two (and added a healthy dose of whimsy to boot!) we would feel ashamed if we didn't share them with you. Fat Pig Chocolates combine totally organic milk chocolate with a clever wrapper that let's you show the world what a total pig you are. And their website even has a feature that allows you to upload pictures of yourself, pigging out! Only available on their website (for now), this might be one of the best candy concoctions we've seen in a loooong time!

Although these are technically bridal party favors, they remind me of oversized petit fours . . . and so I would just as eagerly serve them for a tea or baby shower or birthday celebration as I would a bridal shower. The fudge is made with heavy cream, making it rich and decadent. I prefer straight-up chocolate fudge, but my family loves the more daring flavors like maple walnut and black forest.

I'm a firm believer that sprinkles should be applied conservatively. So you don't overwhelm the cupcakes flavor and you can observe and admire the sprinkle shapes.

For perfect homemade frosting I use Domino confectioners sugar, butter, milk and vanilla extract. For chocolate frosting add Hershey's powdered cocoa and a pinch of salt.
