Shure SE310-K Sound Isolating Earphones (Black)
Shure makes superb professional recording microphones, so I don't think its much of a stretch to expect the same quality from their headphones. These earphones boast "noise isolating" rather than "noise cancelling" technology. The latter tends to introduce unwanted sounds to the listening experience. They fit snugly in the ear and are modular such that push-to-hear accessories can be added on.

These sound GREAT and are quite a bit less expensive than the QC2/QC3 phones. And they actually do a pretty good job of blocking outside noise.

I could use one of these. When I work out, I WORK OUT. A 250lb man doing hardcore cardio generates a lot of sweat. This earphone has washable pads that are sweat proof and water resistant.
