Vintage Motorcycle Lamp

this Vintage Motorcycle Lamp crafted from components of three different vintage bikes. Each lamp is created using a spring, a shock absorber and a transmission gear from some old two-wheeled rides and stands about 18 inches tall. You’ll have to do the shopping for the lampshade yourself but may we suggest covering the shade you purchase with a thin layer of grease to add to the effect (or not, cause that would make it dark and defeat the purpose of a lamp).

They call it unhealthy obsession; we call it liberation. Sooner or later though – regardless of how well we take care of them – they’re going to reach the end of their life. We’ll shed a tear, and then we’ll move on. Matt XXXX decided to take all those forgotten bikes and restore them to usefulness – as Frankensteined furniture. Each stool, chair and coat rack that he makes is a collection of discarded bike parts that has been lovingly “upcycled” into a piece of functional art that you will want to put in your living room.
