I love all of Carol's Daughter products but use the Hair Milk products religiously on my daughter's hair. Unlike mine, her hair is very soft and curly, the hair milk products moisturize and define her hair amazingly!

My naturally wavy hair can look a bit limp - straigter in some spots, curly in others. This stuff works magic. I spray my hair after the shower, scrunch and let it air dry. Beautiful ringlets and curls abound!

I cannot believe I hadn't found this before, especially since it's native to the UK. This company makes only hair products and entirely an organic range -- as the name suggests -- Modern Organic Products. I use their Glisten range... This company makes only hair products and entirely an organic range -- as the name suggests -- Modern Organic Products. I use their Glisten range (which is great for giving a shine to my hair which is hard to come by since I have curly hair) and their C-System range, which divides into products for straight hair and curly hair. Their products range from shampoos, conditioners, leave-in conditioners, detanglers, UV protectors and glosses, amongst many others. It is also really reasonably priced -- one of the many reasons I have switched. This may not help American buyers but for those of you in the UK -- a real must.

On my eternal quest for the IT curly hair products brand, I fell upon Kinky Curly and the name was enough of a reason to buy the products. Unlike many of it's predecessors, this company has a very specific and small product range, covering the basic requirements -- cleansing, moisturising, maintenance and refreshing. Originally, I believe, the products were aimed at the African hair market but it is recommended for anyone with hair, especially curly hair. I love their Pomade and Curling Custard, which makes the hair feel like a million dollars and shine like a million diamonds. Definitely a must-try.

(Except for the one time I went in for a trim and the guy gave me layers and beachy curls- argh!) I think I have had one of their large wooden paddle brushes since they first came out with them. But that brush is huge and doesn't always make the best choice when traveling. I am so glad that Aveda made a smaller version. Now I take this with me whenever I travel. I style my hair, brush my hair, straighten my curly hair with it and it doesn't take up a ton of space in the suitcase or drawer. Like any wooden brush the more you get it wet, the more it will flake and warp a little over time. I combat this by trying to dry off the handle when I'm done with it (if I have used it on wet hair). I do clean it as well to keep it in tip top shape.

Excellent drug store buy. I alternate between this and Biolage for my curly hair - reduces frizz and keeps hair shiny - even on days when I straighten. smells amazing.

I now understand why this shampoo has been written up in just about every major women's magazine and why celebrities swear by it. Supposedly this shampoo is good for all hair types. All I know is that it does not make my naturally curly hair frizz, and my hair feels clean and fresh from the ends all the way to my scalp. See if you can get your hands on a sample and try it for yourself. Amazing stuff!

Like Kinky-Curl, the product range is concentrated, so you want get the variety of scents (but with this company it doesn't matter since the products they do have smell incredible) but you do get the amazing hair -- which is what the ultimate requirement is. I love the Hair Refresher that's been recently introduced. Another Must-Try.
