That kind of layered metaphor is what I enjoy most about working with recycled materials. Even the natural patina of the sculptures relates directly back to flame in it's coloration… fiery reds, oranges, yellows and blacks. Made of aluminum, they are the same weight as traditional wooden long-boards so they perform as well, but are designed silhouettes in the shape of fishbones, skeletons, gas masks. dragons, seahorse and more. Right now, "fishbones" and "seahorse" are for sale (allow a few weeks for delivery because each board is are handmade). And a slew of wood ones are just around the corner and coming soon! I can't wait to see them!
